2015 Girls Regional Finalists

AAA GIRLS

Region I
(~7:30 Game to be played Tuesday, October 27th at Brooke High School)

PARKERSBURG vs UNIVERSITY
Records to date (per wvsoccer.net): Parkersburg (17-2-2) ; University (16-1-1)
Notes: University's sole loss this year was to state #1 Charleston Catholic, while the Big Reds are riding an MSAC Championship win over AAA #1 Winfield into the playoffs

Region II
(~7:30Game to be played Tuesday, October 27th at Musselman High School)

WASHINGTON vs LEWIS COUNTY
Records to date: Washington (11-6-2) ; Lewis County (12-2-3)
Notes: Washington played a tough schedule with 4 of their six losses coming to teams from Maryland or ranked in the top 10 in the state. Meanwhile 8th ranked Lewis County has one of the state's top defenses, only giving up 10 goals thus far in 2015

Region III
(~7:30Game to be played Tuesday, October 27th at Greenbrier East High School)

GEORGE WASHINGTON vs GREENBRIER EAST
Records to date:  George Washington (15-4-2) ; Greenbrier East (19-1-1)
Notes: 9th ranked Greenbrier East brings it's +91 goal differential into the game with the 11th ranked Patriots, who haven't lost a game to a team ranked outside the state's top 4 all season

Region IV
(~7:30Game to be played Tuesday, October 27th at Point Pleasant High School)

WINFIELD vs CABELL MIDLAND
Records to date: Winfield (19-1-1) ; Cabell Midland (14-5-1)
Notes: Winfield took the regular season matchup 5-0, but the Knights are riding a 7-game winning streak in which they've outscored their opponents 22-4.

AA/A GIRLS

Region I
(5:00 Game to be played Thursday, October 29th at Weir High School)

WEIR vs FAIRMONT SENIOR
Records to date: Weir (11-6-2) ; Fairmont Senior (1-5-2)
Notes: These two teams don't share a single opponent throughout the season. Based on goal differential, Weir looks to have the slightly stronger offense, while Fairmont appears to be a bit stronger on the defensive side of the ball.

Region II
(5:00 Game to be played Thursday, October 29th at Grafton High School)

GRAFTON vs ROBERT C. BYRD
Records to date: Grafton (12-4-5) ; Robert C. Byrd (16-2-2)
Notes: These two teams played to a 0-0 tie just two weeks ago, so this is really anybody's game to win. The only team to beat 2nd ranked Robert C. Byrd all year was Bridgeport (twice), who also just happened to give Grafton one of its losses.

Region III
(5:00 Game to be played Thursday, October 29th at Nicholas County High School)

POCAHONTAS COUNTY vs PIKEVIEW
Records to date: Pocahontas (12-8-0) ; Pikeview (14-4-0)
Notes: Pikeview won the regular season matchup 6-2, but judging by their records, schedules, and goal differentials the rest of the season, this looks to be anybody's game

Region IV
(5:00 Game to be played Thursday, October 29th at Ripley High School)

SISSONVILLE vs CHARLESTON CATHOLIC
Records to date: Sissonville (14-4-1) ; Charleston Catholic (20-1-1)
Notes: The #1 ranked and defending state champions from Charleston Catholic haven't lost to an A/AA team from WV in 2 years, but the A/AA 4th ranked Indians with their +83 goal differential won't be an easy out
